Cash back credit cards are a major addition to your wallet because they are easy to use and redeem. Among all rewards credit cards, cash back cards are the most popular. Instead of offering bonuses that can only be redeemed for airfare or lodging, cash back cards give you real cash that you can use any way you like. The best cash back credit cards tend to be those that explain terms in a straightforward manner and provide enticing cash back rates across all purchases. Cash back credit cards can help consumers by encouraging responsible spending habits, all while earning a little extra for their efforts when used properly.

An important thing to consider when choosing which card is right for you is how much cash is earned per every dollar spent, and whether it is possible to earn enough cash back to recoup the cost of carrying the credit card. Most of today’s cash back credit cards offer 1% to 2% cash back on purchases. Don’t forget, in order to maximize your earning potential, you should pay your balance in full each month to avoid paying any interest.
