Pro:I had a credit score of 512 CK. I got approved for $500 and it has gone up to $1500 after one year. My credit score is now 630. Make sure you keep ure balance under 30% usage. i.e. my limit is $1500 so i keep my balance under $450. That is what's building my credit.

Con:Always pay on time b/c the fee is $40 and intrest kicks in after your first year.

Before applying for Capital One I did some research and read some reviews. There were a lot of mixed reviews and I'm starting to wonder why. Maybe those people that gave the bad reviews, ended up no longer making their payments? Well, all I can say, from my perspective is Capital One helps no matter what. I was even able to get my $39 membership fee taken off. They even said I can always call in again, and they were willing to work with me on that fee. I have no clue what other credit card company is willing to do that. Yeah, I'll admit, the people on the other end of the phone line are hard to understand. I was approved for a $500 limit with a credit score of 590. I plan to use Capital One as my main credit card and hopefully able to apply for a Venture later on down the road.

Applied for this card with a cs of 545 on 05/29. Just filed Chapter 7, will dischard on 06/16. Had a previous card by Capone bank in 2010 which was included in the bankruptcy. Applied and was instantly approved for a 300 CL. On 06/05 applied for the Journey card was instantly approved for that card with a CL of 500. Score will go up when they start reporting to credit bureau. Expecting to only use 30% of available credit and make more than required minimum payment. Grateful that Capone gave me a second change...again. Customer service were friendly and polite.

I am so excited to be approved for credit again.  After 10 years with a bankruptcy and even had capital one credit cards in collections for a long time once I paid them back I got the cards back.  The quick silver is my fav due to the cash back rewards.  I now use my credit cards and pay them off every month so that I dont ever have to deal with interest.  My credit has improved ever since I got them. I am so incredibly thankful to have these to rebuild my credit.  THANKS Capital one.

I had this card first before I picked up the Quicksilver.... Ended up canceling this one, Didn't like the fact you had to add cash for an credit limit increase, Quicksilver is better
