According to Credit Karma I have fair credit, however for this card it states you have to have excellent credit. Needless to say, I joined credit Karma yesterday 11/20/13 and obtained my credit score (672), reviewed my credit card recommendations (Chase freedom TOP RANK, CapOne Quicksilver 1ST RUNNER UP, and I can't remember the last one). I went with CapOne because I liked their 1.5% over Chase's 1% with rotating categories that I may never utilize. Needless to say, I was approved with FAIR credit for $5000.00 with 20.9% APR, which is high....however, I plan on using my card like I would my debit card to pay bills I know I have the money for and then turning around and paying it off at the due date to avoid paying interest and to improve my credit and get better offers. Will keep you all posted on customer service, cash reward redemption, etc. once I receive and have a chance to use my card!!! Thanks Capital One and thank you credit Karma!

Nice to see Capital One evolve the past few years, and begin offering cards that rival prime, top tier cards from Chase, Bank of America, Citibank, etc...  No annual fee, 1.5% cash back, $100 bonus with $500 spend in 3 months, and an interest rate as low as 12.9% is right up there with the best no annual fee cards offered.  It's a nice "go to" card for everyday spend, along with their Venture Card (that has an annual fee).  I was instantly approved for a $30k limit (in line with my lowest limit cards) and 12.9% interest rate.  FYI:  My FICO scores are in the 800s across the board with a high income.  This card is highly recommended to diversify your credit portfolio.

I have Cap One Quicksilver Mastercard, started off with $600 limit (credit was low 600's at the time). In approximately one year's time they increased my CL to 1200 then 2500.  Two weeks ago I applied for this Quicksilver Visa and my credit was up to 675 EQ and 690 TU, got approved for $10,000 CL with 19.99% apr. Not a great rate but Im still rebuilding and i havent been carry balances so the apr wasnt that big of a deal for me.  Cap One has been great for someone rebuilding.  All positives here.

When I first signed up for this card I had very poor credit.  Capital One approved me for an inital $300 credit line and I was shocked especially since back in 2008/2009 I had a charge off with them.

I kept my utilization below 50% and made monthly on-time payments and at the 6 month mark they increased my credit line to $500 as promised.

Flash forward another 6 months of low utilization and monthly on-time payments and they have just increased my credit line to $2500.  This was done without being prompted by me.

My credit score over the course of this past year (account opened in July 2014) has gone from Very Poor to Fair (currently 646).

Thank you Capital One for taking another chance on me.  They have given me the opportunity to improve my credit and have a card in my possession with a decent credit line should an emergency occur.

Thank you everyone for posting your reviews.  It helped me to go ahead and apply.  I haven't applied for a card in several years.  In fact, I've been paying my cards off with a consolidated credit service.  My credit scores are 690 and 696 and I was approved for $10,000.  That's impressive.  I have made consistent payments with my consolidation payments, perhaps that is the reason, not exactly sure.  Either way, it seemed to work out nicely.

I hope that you all have good results in your search for the right card and that you are successful in all of your financial endeavors!
