According to Credit Karma I have fair credit, however for this card it states you have to have excellent credit. Needless to say, I joined credit Karma yesterday 11/20/13 and obtained my credit score (672), reviewed my credit card recommendations (Chase freedom TOP RANK, CapOne Quicksilver 1ST RUNNER UP, and I can't remember the last one). I went with CapOne because I liked their 1.5% over Chase's 1% with rotating categories that I may never utilize. Needless to say, I was approved with FAIR credit for $5000.00 with 20.9% APR, which is high....however, I plan on using my card like I would my debit card to pay bills I know I have the money for and then turning around and paying it off at the due date to avoid paying interest and to improve my credit and get better offers. Will keep you all posted on customer service, cash reward redemption, etc. once I receive and have a chance to use my card!!! Thanks Capital One and thank you credit Karma!

Got approved no problem with a 710 from credit karma. 10,000 credit limit. spend 500 within 3 months and get a 100 bonus. Thats easy, just pay a couple of bills with it and then pay it off seeing its 0% for a year.

I have this card, but oddly CK says I have a poor chance of getting approved. I just applied about two weeks ago in response to a mail offer. Application was quick and easy and I got a limit of $3000. I had a CK score at around 630 before getting this card but discover was showing my TU at around 680, 3 inquiries (1 of them was my Chase freedom which was 3 months prior), annual income 39000, current debts totaling around 32000 (mostly student loans), no late payments but extremely high usage on muy cards due to not mangaging myself properly.

Higher cash back percentage than my chase and higher starting limit.

I like it so far, but I plan to either keep a low balance or do a balance transfer, i havent decided yet.

I have this card, AMEX Blue Cash Preferred and Discover It.  I like all three but this one is incredibly easy for accessing cash back without having to do a thing (once you set up your preferences).  AND, I'm loving the 5% cash back on gas from July - September.  I'll switch back to the AMEX for gas (3% cash back) in October.

Separate note:  CK has been my go-to site to determine which cards to get and the reviews have been very helpful.  However, my CK score has never been accurate.  When I pull my score from TransUnion directly it's 33 points higher than the CK score.  Had I gone by CK's card recommendations from their scoring of my credit, I never would have even applied for the AMEX or Discover.  Thank goodness I decided to pull my scores directly from the three agencies!

I kept a Capital One Platinum Mastercard with a $500 limit for about a year and paid it down every month.  I think I got preapproved for the Quicksilver card because of that.  Filled out the app and immediately got approved for a $2,000 CL. My FICO is low becuase of a bankruptcy, around 630, and I was surprised I got approved.  I got the 1.5% cash back and 0% interest until 4/15 and no annual fee.  I didn't get the $100 bonus for spending $500 and the interest rate is a very high 22.9%, but I think it's a good card for someone with below average credit.

I recently applied and was approved for $5,000 limit. I love this card. The fact that is has no annual fee, no foreign transaction fees, and a quality earn rate make this an almost "must have" card for just about anybody. One of my favorite features of the card so far is after a purchase goes through your cash rewards pop up immediately into your online account. This is a feature not found on other cards that I'm aware of. For instance, with the Chase Freedom and Discover It cards you have to wait until your statement comes in before your rewards appear. This is the case with most credit cards. With American Express Blue Cash you have wait until the statement comes in AND you have to wait until the next statement before you can actually use those rewards! That said, what makes this feature unique is you can keep up with your cash back as you earn it as opposed to waiting until the statement comes in. Additionally there are multiple ways to redeem your cash back. You can apply a statement credit, request a check, or shop for gift cards. Pretty standard in the cash back realm, but the ultimate benefit is you can redeem in any of these forms FOR THE FULL AMOUNT. Some cards charge you more for a statement credit or a check. This forces you to redeem your rewards in a specific way in order to get the best deal on your points. With Cap One Quicksilver you don't have to worry. However you decided to redeem your points is up to you at no additional cost or misfortune.

My opinion is if you have good to excellent credit you should apply for this card. It's a great card and should let you to earn cash back quickly.
