Got instant approval for $3,000 CL with a CK score of 713 and Vantagescore of 786 (21 years old so all my credit is less than 3 years old).  Got the 0% APR for a year but then it's 20.9% after that, which I always pay my bill in full anyways so I don't have to worry about that.

Getting $100 off of $500 is pretty nice though!  And the 1.5% cash back will go great at WalMart which never seems to get into any 5% rotating categories on other cards.

After having their Platinum card for years Capitol One sent me an offer for the Quicksilver last week and I accepted.  My card was converted with no problems.  Credit Karma rating system still says that I on't have a fair chance of being approved despite my good credit.  My point is don't take their rating system to heart it's completely not accurate!

Has anyone ever gotten the Quicksilverone Mastercardcard and then got upgraded to the Quicksilver Visa?  Does anyone have both cards?

I didn't actually apply for this card as a former Barclays Card division Orchard Bank visa holder this was an acquisition only a $2k limit.  I have had other cards with Capital One (they let me keep one after bankruptcy by reaffirming the debt of $600 but have never raised the limit on that card in almost 10 years (June 2004 I reaffirmed the debt).  I have a couple of other very low limit Capital One Cards which I use to keep active (tank of gas etc.) Haven't carried a balance for at least a year on most of them.  I have a Discover IT card which I got about 3-4 months ago (before my bankruptcy fell off 5 March 2014) with an $8500 limit and 0% for 15 months and a 15.99% interest after.  Better card better, service.  I would actually close my capital one accounts if they didn't have the longest history on my report.  I would recommend them for someone who is rebuilding but only this quicksilver card since the rewards really are no hassle.

I had a long application process so let me start there...I did my application in a branch and was dinied. I got a letter in the mail with the reasons but they did not make sense and/or incorrect so I email the CEO of Cap1. Within a week I got a call saying they are looking into my application. A week after the same person called again to tell me I was Approved with $3000 limit and 16.9% APR. Card has been good so far and customer service is very good! At the time my CK score was 731 and Transunion was 673. I had Cap1 Secure card for 18 mouths before applying which I paid in full monthly.

I applied for this (when it was CapitalOne Cash Rewards) back in May 2013 with a 624 CK. I was incredibly irresponsible in my 20's and as a result, have a few items in collections still today. I needed to get my credict back in order so I decided to give it a shot. I was instantly approved for a $300 limit, which in my situation, is just what I needed to get back on track. Over the course of the following six months used it very responsibly by paying it off every month (exception of one month). Without my asking, they incrased my CL to $3,300 and immediately bosted my CK score by 45+ pts. Capital One is THE card to use for buidling back up your score after some real damage. I gotta tip my hat to them for giving guys like me an opportunity to redeem ourselves. Now, I've in range for some better cards all thanks to them. Highly recommended.
