According to Credit Karma I have fair credit, however for this card it states you have to have excellent credit. Needless to say, I joined credit Karma yesterday 11/20/13 and obtained my credit score (672), reviewed my credit card recommendations (Chase freedom TOP RANK, CapOne Quicksilver 1ST RUNNER UP, and I can't remember the last one). I went with CapOne because I liked their 1.5% over Chase's 1% with rotating categories that I may never utilize. Needless to say, I was approved with FAIR credit for $5000.00 with 20.9% APR, which is high....however, I plan on using my card like I would my debit card to pay bills I know I have the money for and then turning around and paying it off at the due date to avoid paying interest and to improve my credit and get better offers. Will keep you all posted on customer service, cash reward redemption, etc. once I receive and have a chance to use my card!!! Thanks Capital One and thank you credit Karma!

CK said I had a "fair" approval odd for this credit card, but my GF was approved for it and my credit scores were better (TU-696/EQ-695) so I decided to apply for this one. Application process took about 2 minutes and I was instantly approved for $3K line at about 20%APY which is fine because I am rebuilding credit. I do not have any additional credit cards and have a car loan for $20K.

When I turned 18 Capital One sent me CC offer in the mail. I had a $750 limit on a $10,000 annual salary. I lost my job in 2008 and ended up charging their card off in bankruptcy. 1 month after my bankruptcy was discharged, Voila an offer in the mail for the Capital One platinum 0% for more than 1 year. A week later I saw a commercial for the Quicksilver and thought what the heck, I'll try and apply. APPROVED. I actually couldn't believe it. 2 cards in 1 week a month after bankruptcy. I've had these cards for 1 year and 2 months. No issues. Both started at a $300 limit. Now I'm at $1500 total. Awesome! I love Capital one. 2 credit line increases. One every six months. Thanks Capital One!

Immediately approved for 3000 CL. Denied by Discover IT minutes before (counter offered with a secure 500 card? No thanks). Waiting to hear back from Amex Blue.

An interesting fact is I typed in my mail offer code, and was offered a preapproval for 24.9% APR. When I pulled up a new window and checked for pre-approvals, I was down to 17.9%APR. So if your score has changed, be careful on your method for applying!

CK est TU 650, Equifax 705 (just paid off $700 on another card; not sure TU picked up on that yet). I have a Wells Fargo CL 2100, and a Credit Union 1000 CL, and no other credit/ loans/ anything. No inquiries other than for my first 2 credit cards I opened 3 + years ago. One 30 day late payment a year ago. 50% utilization, down from 90% last month.

CK listed my approval odds as "fair" for the Cap1 Quicksilver. Please note there are 2 cards... Quicksilver and QuicksilverOne. Cap 1 lists that Quicksilver needs excellent credit, and has no annual fee. QuicksilverOne needs average credit, has a $39 annual fee, and higher APR, but no balance transfer fee.

*Sidenote: Last month CK listed my TU as 648, when I pulled directly from TU it was 675 so that's 27 points off!
